Writer Review
Apex Trader Funding stands out in the prop trading industry with its scalable accounts and proven payout history, making it particularly attractive for futures day traders seeking affordable entry points and generous profit sharing structures.
Strengths:
Low-Cost Evaluations: With frequent 80-90% discount sales, traders can access $50K accounts for as little as $19-$38 monthly, representing exceptional value in the prop trading space.
Scalability Potential:ย The ability to manage up to 20 funded accounts simultaneously provides significant scaling opportunities for successful traders.
Generous Profit Splits: The 100% profit split on the first $25,000 and 90% thereafter creates attractive earning potential.
Large Account Options: If you like to trade with large accounts then Apex offers you a wide-selection. You can trade between $25K to $300K account sizes.
News and Holiday Trading: The absence of news restrictions, and holiday limitations allows traders to maintain their natural trading strategies without constraints.
Proven Payout Record: Over $568 million paid to customers since 2022 demonstrates the company's commitment to trader success and financial stability.
Areas of Concern:
Trailing Drawdown Options: While they do offer intraday and static drawdown accounts, it would be nice if they offered end of day trailing drawdown options like other prop firms.
Documentation and Rules: I am overwhelmed by the amount of rules and lengthy explanations in the Help Center. While it is nice that they are so thorough, I wish they could simplify things more so it's easier toย understand.
Strict Payout Rules: There are minimum trading days, consistency rules, safety net requirements, min and max payouts, etc. You have to read all their rules very carefully so you don't risk a denied payout.
Funded Scaling Rules: Traders can only use up to half of their max allowed contracts until they reach the trailing threshold stop.
